About Linden

Linden is an emotion-logging app for building self-awareness over time. You record how you feel using an interactive emotion picker, and over days and weeks, your entries build into a personal emotion map — a beautiful flowing visualization of your emotional life.

The map serves two purposes: private reflection (journaling prompts, patterns over time) and social sharing (shareable images and short videos for Instagram and TikTok).

What Linden is not

Linden helps you notice your feelings — it is a self-awareness tool, not a substitute for professional support. It does not diagnose, treat, or provide therapeutic advice. When showing reflections or prompts, the language is observational and never prescriptive.

How it works

Linden is built on established emotion categorisation research. The default model is the Willcox/Junto Feelings Wheel — a rich 3-level hierarchy that helps you move from "I feel bad" to "I feel isolated" or "I feel pressured."
